Becoming Empowered in Three Steps

You can become empowered in three steps!  Breaking out of the victim mentality is going to require you to start accepting responsibility for everything that happens in your life.  This means the good, the bad and the ugly.  You are the ultimate creator in your life.  If you find yourself constantly being victimized, then there are signs and signals you are sending out letting people know they can walk all over you.  It’s going to take time to examine your behavior to figure out what those behaviors are.  Here are some steps you can take to start creating an amazing life.

Accept fully that you are responsible for your life.

You must accept right here and right now that you are solely responsible for your life. Everything that happens in your life is as a result of behaviors and decisions you have made. Once you begin to see that everything that happens in your life is a result of you, then you can no longer blame others for victimizing you. You will learn to take responsibility for your life.

Evaluate your behavior to look for patterns where you have allowed victimization to occur.

There are things you have done in your life in order to allow people to hurt you. It’s going to take some work with a therapist, through meditation and journaling to figure those behaviors out. You might have old wounds that need to be healed before you can begin a new way of living. Once you have an in-depth awareness around your behavior, you are ready to create your most amazing life.

Change up what you are doing in order to create the life you want.

Once you have fully committed to creating the life you want, it’s all about going out and making it happen. You are going to have to start doing things differently than you were before and that’s going to be an exciting journey. You will begin to make healthier and better decisions for your life because you will no longer blame anyone for your unhappiness. You are the keeper of your happiness and you will begin to take that job very seriously!
