Love is in the air. February is the month of love. Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching. In my counseling office during the marriage counseling in Davie, I’ve been working with each person to create a Valentine’s Day that their partner won’t forget. However, there is a whole other group of people single this year. Many people have asked ways to attract love into their lives. I got the inspiration for this post during one of my sessions. I listed out about 5-10 things a person could in order to put their attention to love and make it grow.
If you are looking to increase your love energy and attract love in a big way, here’s a list of things you can do in order to immerse yourself with it.
1. Use positive affirmations EVERYWHERE
Put reminders in your phone, such as “I am lovable” or “Love is patient and love is kind”. You can add sticky notes all over your house, especially on mirrors. Find ways to use those positive affirmations throughout your life.
2. Listen to love songs. Read books about love. Watch your favorite sappy movies.
Immerse yourself with love. Surround yourself with it through entertainment. Make a playlist on YouTube and listen to the songs on a regular basis. Watch “Dirty Dancing” over and over again. Read a romance novel with a really buff blonde man on the cover.
3. Open your heart chakra
Try taking a yoga class where the focus is on the heart center. Purchase a rose quartz and put it close to your bed. Head over to Whole Foods and pick up a love candle to burn.
4. Create vision board
My colleague, Latoya Carbonell, women’s expert, wrote a wonderful blog post about creating a vision board. They are fun and easy to do.
5. Wear pink on Wednesdays
On Wednesdays we wear pink. You can do the same! Incorporate pinks and reds into your life. Buy a shirt with a heart on it. Pick up some sexy underwear that will bring love into your life.
February can be a time for loving yourself, so take the time to do that this month. Try my steps and comment below on how they worked out for you. If you have bigger blocks around men that a rose quartz and vision boards can’t solve, connect with me so we can remove those blocks! Call or email me today for a free 15 minute consultation.
